This is a little hotel one block from the boardwalk and two blocks from La Rambla, good location if you want to be close to the beach and the gothic quarter. There is a walking distance to some historic attractions, lots of grocery stores and a convenient/reliable metro transportation. The hotel is quiet during the night, there is very little noise from the streets below. The room I had was not very spacious (not bad for Europe though), but enough for me traveling solo, I suppose it would be okay for two as well. It was recently renovated, clean, with very comfortable bed (really important to me), shower stall rather than a bath tub (another plus), a teapot area with a mini fridge and a very quiet air conditioning system!. The room was well equipped for this size accommodation. Housekeeping services and breakfast were offered every day, with breakfast for additional six euro. The breakfast was pretty good with selection of cold meat, some cheese, a few choices of bread and cereal, little desserts, fresh fruit, coffee/tea/drink of your choice- much better than continental and somewhat below a full breakfast, there were no hot dishes. All staff were nice and professional, willing to help and accommodate my requests. In short, good hotel that I would stay at again and recommend it to a friend.

I arrived before checkin, and the hotel stored my luggage and I toured the area until time to check in. I chose this location, because I was scheduled to board a transatlantic cruise in 2 days. The hotel was a very easy and short walk to the port, which during my stay, allowed sailing ships for sights, wine, and jazz. I was surrounded by places to eat and sights to see. I was happy to find a fleamarket near the waterfront, where I purchased some antique treasures. There was also a large shopping mall with restaurants along the water. There were some nearby areas that I’m not sure I would have walked alone at night. Room was small, but clean and efficient, at a fair price. For the convenience of walking to the port, or just being near the water, I would definitely stay there again.

Convenient location - found in Barri Gotic, this hotel is conveniently located near major landmarks (Plaza de Colon, Las Ramblas) and a few steps from bakeries, a supermarket, laundromat, and several restaurants. There is also a taxi stand nearby and Metro stop (Drassanes). Thoughtful amenities- complimentary water bottles were provided at check-in (wonderful touch since we checked in at 9pm), small refrigerator and tea kettle in the room, vending machine downstairs, and optional simple breakfast buffet onsite, daily housekeeping.

The location of the hotel is great - in one of the blocks at the head of LA Rambla street. The alley is small and dark, so I do not recommend staying there with only female company. A few meters from the Statue of Columbus and a metro station. The room had everything we needed for a stay, we didn't miss anything. It was extremely clean. It is possible to leave your luggage in the storage area before check-in and after check out if it is needed. We are satisfied with our stay there.

The location is very good, just off the end of The Rambles and close to the quay. The staff were very helpful and polite. The room was a proper single room. The room was quiet and I did not experience any problems during my stay. The hotel had some vending machines for snacks and drinks. There was a luggage storage that I appreciated as my train did not got until late afternoon.
